The Xcel Project

The Xcel Project is a social enterprise founded by Towy Community Church.  The mission of the project is to see Carmarthen thrive through bringing investment and services into the town as well as providing support for people in crisis and a place where community can gather and be built up.

The bowling alley and cafe have brought investment, regeneration and jobs to Carmarthen.  The furniture recycling and community shop provide community services as well as provide emergency support to people in crisis through furniture, clothes, bedding and household items.  The Carmarthen food bank is part of the UK wide network of food banks called the trussel trust providing food crisis services.
